Married:       David Whiting, batchelor, labourer, of Burton End, Haverhill, son of David Whiting, labourer on 5th August 1842 at St Mary's Parish Church, Haverhill. Witnessed by Thomas Buttle and Sarah Whiting(2,3)        

Children:      Ellen Whiting b.1843, Frederick Whiting b.1845, Esther Whiting b.1848, Frank Whiting b.1851, Frances Alice Whiting b.1856, James Whiting b.1860, Joseph Whiting b.1862 and Edith Whiting b.1866

Died:             March 1900 at 3 Hanbury Road in Acton. Buried at Haverhill Cemetery on 5th March 1900.(4,5)

 
Bio:               Elizabeth is present on the 1841 census living on Race Farm, Haverhill, with her parents Thomas and Mary and siblings Thomas, John, Sarah, James and Susanna. Next year she married David Whiting, had eight children and lived with him until he died in 1892. At some point afterwards Elizabeth must have gone to live with her youngest daughter Edith, because her place of death on the burial register(6) is given as 3 Hanbury Road, Acton, which is where Edith and her husband Elijah Barrett were living. Elizabeth was buried alongside her husband at Haverhill Cemetery.
